John is a British Canoeing Performance Coach, having experience paddling; Inland Kayak, Open Canoe and Stand Up Paddleboard. He is a Coach Educator and Tutor. A competitive background in Slalom, Canoe Polo , Marathon and Wild Water racing disciplines, together with  recreational paddling  on sea, lake and rivers, including Expeditions in these environments. 

He is a provider for the following British Canoeing awards;

Paddle, Start,  Discover, Explore in all paddle craft

Personal Performance Awards in Kayak, Canoeing and SUP, (Sheltered Water, White Water and Touring)

Foundation Safety and Rescue Training for all ages to support personal skill, leading and coaching in all paddle craft.
